Three-day artisan bread-making courses with Carl Shavitz

To be held at the West Manse on the Island of Westray in Orkney. Using true artisan skills and organic ingredients learn how to produce mouth-watering rustic sourdough, light airy focaccia, walnut & sultana batons using an overnight sponge and other breads during these hands-on courses. See the Mill Westray for full information about the courses.

Westray has coastal walks, birds and wildlife galore, galleries and craft studios in plenty. The principle industries are crab and lobster fishing, farming, tourism and craft. For more information on Westray visit the Tourist Association website.
