Artisan Bread School returns to Fattoria degli Usignoli in 2012

Fattoria degli Usignoli is in San Donato in Fronzano, 30 minutes by train from Florence, Italy, to the nearby startion of Sant'Ellero. This is the heart of the Chianti district of Tuscany with rolling hills, olive trees and grape vines. We live in glorious surroundings, with stunning views and work in a purpose built professional kitchen which includes 3 wood-fired ovens and marble top work benches.

Although facilities are completely modern, Fattoria degli Usignoli (Italian) (English) dates back to the 14th century. All accomodation includes ensuite facilities, Italian TV, telephone, and hair dryer. Within the 11 hectare (27 acres) estate there are two swimming pools, horse riding*, tennis*, billiards*, table tennis and a mini football pitch. Wi-fi is available.

Fattoria degli Usignoli is 28km from Florence, 160km from Assisi, 140 from Pisa, 100km from Sienna, 4km from Regello and close to the A1 Autostrada, exit Incisa.
